Quilters

The Messiah Quilters carry on a long-standing tradition of creating quilts to share God’s love with others. Whether you’re rekindling a passion for sewing, exploring a love of fabric, or learning new skills, this ministry welcomes you to help make quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

These quilts are sent all over the world and serve many purposes:

• Blankets and mats

• Room partitions or window coverings

• Wrapping children in their mother’s arms

• Comforting the sick or hurting

When & Where

• Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Messiah

Who Can Join

Quilters of all skill levels are welcome — you don’t need to be an experienced sewer! We have jobs for both sewers and non-sewers. Bring a sewing machine and basic supplies if you wish, but it’s not required.
